How are our neighborhoods shaped and how do we influence that process? Back to Basics is series of sessions designed to answer these questions. This kick-off sessions is an introduction to the real estate development process where participants can ask questions and make suggestions for future topics. At the end of this session, participants will:
1. Understand the basic steps of real estate development
2. Understand how the community can participate at each step
3. Identify various governmental and quasi governmental groups involved in the development process
